Das unabhängige Wirtschaftsforschungsinstitut WifOR ist ein Spin-Off der Technischen Universität Darmstadt. Seit unserer Gründung 2009 übersetzen wir volkswirtschaftliche Analysen in Entscheidungsgrundlagen – in den Bereichen Arbeitsmarkt, Nachhaltigkeit und Gesundheit. Unsere Mission: mithilfe von Studien datenbasierte Lösungen für die Anforderungen auf dem Arbeitsmarkt zu entwickeln, globale Standards in der Impact-Messung zu setzen und die Bedeutung von Gesundheitsinvestitionen weltweit sichtbar zu machen. WifOR beschäftigt über 75 Mitarbeitende in Deutschland, Griechenland, Lateinamerika und den USA.

Deine Aufgaben

Mitarbeit an externen und internen Projekten
Literaturrecherche und Unterstützung des Tagesgeschäfts im Forschungsbereich der Wertschöpfungs- und Nachhaltigkeitsanalyse
Recherche und Aufbereitung von Forschungsdaten in MS Excel (und ggf. mit Python)
Erstellung von Präsentationen in MS PowerPoint

Dein Profil

Student:in der Wirtschaftswissenschaften (BWL, VWL o.ä.), Sozialwissenschaften, Ingenieurwissenschaften, Nachhaltigkeitsmanagement oder eines verwandten Studiengangs (mind. sechs Monate verbleibend)
Datenaffinität und Interesse an makroökonomischen Zusammenhängen
Programmierkenntnisse (vorzugsweise mit Python) oder Erfahrung mit Statistiksoftware wie R oder STATA sind von Vorteil.
Sicherer Umgang mit den MS-Office-Produkten (insbesondere Excel, PowerPoint und Word)
Fähigkeit, sich schnell in neue Themen einzuarbeiten
Fließende Deutschkenntnisse
Selbstständigkeit, Sorgfalt, Eigeninitiative und Teamfähigkeit

Your tasks

Assistance in external and internal projects
Literature research and support of data analysis tasks on sustainability analyses and impact valuation
Data analysis in Excel or Python (depending on the project)
Preparing and adapting presentations in MS PowerPoint

Your profile

You are currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree programme in economics, social and environmental sciences, life sciences, environmental engineering or a similar field (min. six months remaining)
You have an affinity for data and macroeconomic complexities
You have some knowledge of working with programming languages such as R and Python
You are confident in using common MS Office applications such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
You like to familiarise yourself quickly with new topics
Excellent German language skills
You can work independently, accurately and especially enjoy working in a team
