Das unabhängige Wirtschaftsforschungsinstitut WifOR ist ein Spin-Off der Technischen Universität Darmstadt. Seit unserer Gründung 2009 übersetzen wir volkswirtschaftliche Analysen in Entscheidungsgrundlagen – in den Bereichen Arbeitsmarkt, Nachhaltigkeit und Gesundheit. Unsere Mission: mithilfe von Studien datenbasierte Lösungen für die Anforderungen auf dem Arbeitsmarkt zu entwickeln, globale Standards in der Impact-Messung zu setzen und die Bedeutung von Gesundheitsinvestitionen weltweit sichtbar zu machen. Unser Fokus liegt zudem auf der praxisorientierten Wirtschaftsforschung. WifOR beschäftigt über 75 Mitarbeitende in Deutschland und Griechenland.

Unsere Business Unit Health Economics erforscht die gesellschaftliche und wirtschaftliche Bedeutung von Gesundheit und medizinischer Versorgung. Trage dazu bei, fundierte Evidenz für eine nachhaltige Gesundheitsversorgung zu schaffen – werde Teil unseres Teams als Researcher (f/m/x) Health Economics.

Deine Aufgaben

Du bearbeitest eigenständig Forschungs- und Beratungsprojekte mit Fokus auf Versorgungsforschung und gesundheitsökonomische Kosten-Nutzen-Analysen
Du führst wissenschaftliche Analysen durch – evidenzbasiert, praxisnah und mit Blick auf reale Herausforderungen im Gesundheitswesen
Du bereitest Projektergebnisse klar und überzeugend auf und präsentierst sie vor nationalen und internationalen Kund:innen
Du bringst Dich aktiv in die Angebotserstellung ein und unterstützt bei der Entwicklung neuer Projektideen und -ansätze
Du nutzt Deine analytischen Fähigkeiten, um komplexe Zusammenhänge verständlich zu machen – ob in Reports, Präsentationen oder Workshops
Du möchtest mit Deiner Arbeit echten Impact im Gesundheitssektor erzielen – faktenbasiert, lösungsorientiert und gemeinsam im Team

Dein Profil

Ein abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium – idealerweise in Gesundheitsökonomie, Public Health oder Wirtschaftswissenschaften
Kenntnisse in empirischer Wirtschaftsforschung, Statistik und/oder Ökonometrie
Erste Erfahrung in der Projektarbeit ist ein Plus, aber kein Muss
Sehr gutes Englisch in Wort und Schrift – Deutschkenntnisse sind von Vorteil
Sicherer Umgang mit Microsoft 365 und Statistik-Tools wie R, STATA oder Python
Analytisches Denken und Spaß an der Arbeit im Team
Offenheit, Lernbereitschaft und Neugierde, um gemeinsam mit uns neue Wege zu gehen

Our Health Economics Business Unit explores the societal and economic impact of health and healthcare delivery. Your tasks

You will independently manage research and consulting projects – with a focus on health services research and health economic cost-benefit analyses
You will conduct scientific analyses – evidence-based, practice-oriented, and focused on real-world healthcare challenges
You will clearly and convincingly prepare project results and present them to national and international clients
You will actively contribute to proposal development and support the initiation of new project ideas and concepts
You will collaborate across disciplines with colleagues from Data Science, Public Affairs, and other teams
You will use your analytical skills to make complex relationships understandable – in reports, presentations, or workshops
You are driven to create real impact in the healthcare sector – evidence-based, solution-oriented, and as part of a team

Your profile

University degree in the fields of health economics, public health, economics or similar
Knowledge of empirical economic research, applied statistics, and/or econometrics 
Professional experience in practice-oriented scientific work is beneficial
Confident use of Microsoft 365 (especially very good Excel skills) and statistical software (e.g. R, STATA, Python)
Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken
Analytical skill and team player mentality
Willingness to learn (on the job), curiosity, and openness to new things
