Über WifOR

Das unabhängige Wirtschaftsforschungsinstitut WifOR ist ein Spin-Off der Technischen Universität Darmstadt. Seit unserer Gründung 2009 übersetzen wir volkswirtschaftliche Analysen in Entscheidungsgrundlagen – in den Bereichen Arbeitsmarkt, Nachhaltigkeit und Gesundheit. Unsere Mission: mithilfe von Studien datenbasierte Lösungen für die Anforderungen auf dem Arbeitsmarkt zu entwickeln, globale Standards in der Impact-Messung zu setzen und die Bedeutung von Gesundheitsinvestitionen weltweit sichtbar zu machen. Unser Fokus liegt zudem auf der praxisorientierten Wirtschaftsforschung. WifOR beschäftigt über 75 Mitarbeitende in Deutschland und Griechenland.

Unser Labor Market Team am Standort in Berlin analysiert, wie Arbeit, Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft ineinandergreifen. Gemeinsam entwickeln wir Erkenntnisse, die Orientierung für die Arbeitswelt von morgen geben. Gestalte mit uns die Zukunft des Arbeitsmarkts – als Researcher (f/m/x) Labor Market.

Deine Aufgaben

Du führst wissenschaftliche Analysen durch – evidenzbasiert, praxisnah und mit Blick auf reale Herausforderungen im Arbeitsmarkt (Analysen und Prognosen, Gesundheit, Pflege und Rente, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion)
Du bereitest Projektergebnisse klar und überzeugend auf und präsentierst sie vor nationalen und internationalen Kund:innen
Du bringst Dich aktiv in die Angebotserstellung ein und unterstützt bei der Entwicklung neuer Projektideen und -ansätze
Du nutzt Deine analytischen Fähigkeiten, um komplexe Zusammenhänge verständlich zu machen – ob in Reports, Präsentationen oder Workshops
Du möchtest mit Deiner Arbeit echten Impact in der Arbeitswelt von heute und morgen erzielen – faktenbasiert, lösungsorientiert und gemeinsam im Team

Dein Profil

Ein abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium in Wirtschafts- oder Sozialwissenschaften (Bachelor oder Master)
Erste Kenntnisse in der Arbeitsmarktforschung (DEI, Personalwirtschaft, HR Analytics)
Interesse an sozialen und politischen Fragestellungen
Kenntnisse in empirischer Wirtschaftsforschung, Politikevaluation und/oder Ökonometrie
Sicherer Umgang mit Microsoft Office 365 und Statistik-Software (z.B. Python)
Analytisches Denken und Spaß an der Arbeit im Team
Lernbereitschaft, Offenheit, Neugierde, um gemeinsam mit uns neue Wege zu gehen
Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

Your tasks

You dive into evidence-based analyses and forecasts that tackle real labor market challenges – from health to pensions, care, and diversity, equity and inclusion
You turn complex findings into clear, engaging insights and present them to clients across national and international contexts
You actitvely help shaping proposals and bring in fresh ideas to develop new projects and approaches
You use your analytical skills to translate complexity into clarity – in reports, presentations, and workshops
You want your work to make a real impact on the world of work – fact-driven, solution-oriented, and always as part of a team

Your profile

Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics or social sciences (Bachelor or Master)
Initial professional experience in labor market research (e.g. DEI, human resources, HR analytics)
Strong interest in social and political issues
Knowledge in empirical economic research, poltical evaluation, and/or econometrics
Confident use of Microsoft Office 365 and statistical software (e.g. Python)
Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
Analytical mindset and enthusiasm for teamwork
Curiosity, openness, and willingness to learn – ready to explore new paths with us
