Your future position?
As a working student in Impact Analysis, you will primarily support the team on a project with the European Commission, the European statistical authority and further partners. The project develops an interactive database for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to assess the sustainability of global supply chains and pilot business use cases. In addition, you will support our regular research projects, with a focus on quantifying the social impact of companies on economic, environmental, and social levels.
Your tasks
- You prepare and document the weekly online meetings of the EU project
- You support the development of project records and presentations
- You conduct relevant literature research to support day-to-day activities in the research field
- You identify and prepare research information using Excel (and, if applicable, Python)
- You assist the team with administrative tasks
Your profile
- You are studying economics (e.g., Business Administration or Economics), Business Management, Sustainability Management, or a related field, with at least one year remaining in your studies
- You are available to work 10–15 hours per week; due to scheduled meetings, availability on Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays is preferred
- You have very good written and spoken German and English skills (B2/C1)
- You have an analytical mindset and are interested in macroeconomics
- Previous experience with minute-taking and documentation, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Basic knowledge of statistics
- Knowledge of global supply chains
- Knowledge of Python, Stata, or R
